British singer-songwriter Arlo Parks has dropped her highly anticipated new single “Heaven,” offering fans a bold and immersive taste of what’s to come from her forthcoming third studio album, Ambiguous Desire — set for release on April 3, 2026 via Transgressive Records.

“Heaven” marks a striking evolution in Parks’ sound, blending her signature introspective lyricism with pulsating electronic and dance-influenced production. The track embraces themes of euphoria, unity, and presence, inspired by the visceral, transformative energy of underground dance culture.

A New Sonic Chapter

In “Heaven,” Parks channels the visceral thrill of being lost in a crowd — “in a room full of strangers sweating, connecting, losing and finding themselves,” she says — in an attempt to capture a feeling that goes beyond words.  The song’s hypnotic rhythms and bass-driven pulse signal a daring departure from her earlier indie-folk and soulful roots, delving into more ambient, club-ready territory.

Stream “Heaven” now and get ready for Ambiguous Desire dropping April 3, 2026.

Alongside the single, Parks has also unveiled a music video that visualizes the track’s nocturnal energy and immersive dancefloor vibe.

What to Expect From Ambiguous Desire

Ambiguous Desire — Parks’ third full-length album — arrives April 3rd and promises a deeply personal and innovative exploration of sound. Following the earlier release of lead single “2SIDED,” “Heaven” reinforces the album’s themes of emotional depth and collective experience while showcasing Parks’ expanding sonic palette.

The album’s tracklist features a mix of introspective songs and dance-infused moments, including collaborations and emotionally potent compositions that reflect Parks’ journey into new musical landscapes.
